Busy, busy, busy

Oof da. Lots of excitement going on...

Gave a presentation yesterday at the Bact. department retreat which went pretty well. It's always a challenge getting people interested in physiology and in B12, but I think I managed it - folks asked lots of questions, which makes me feel good. Mostly I'm glad to have it done with, because...

2 weeks until the big American Society for Microbiology meeting in Philadelphia. I'm giving a poster, and hoping to get some networking done looking for a good post-doc. Stressful. It should be fun, but I'm freaking out.

Also, I'm pretty sure the "contaminant" band in my enzyme preps is actually the enzyme itself. Dang it. Back to the drawing board.
