Required Reading

Everybody needs to stop what they're doing, truck on down to the library or bookstore, and get themselves a copy of Paul Malmont's The Chinatown Death Cloud Peril. Absolutely brilliant.

I mean to say, what's not to love about a book where Lester Dent and Walter Gibson (creators of Doc Savage and The Shadow, respectively) team up to solve the murder of H.P. Lovecraft in 1930's Chinatown? It's got kung fu villians, hideous monsters, blonde bombshells, lurkers in the darkness, conspiracies, and cowboys. Everything a red-blooded American boy could ever want.

And now I've got to go track down some old Doc Savage novels. Excuse me.

You might appreciate the University at Buffalo's paperback and pulp fiction collection.

I like that they have a "Gumshoes, Sleuths, and Snoopers Database". That must come in handy!
